A Link Up Party and some Challenges!

Hi Everyone!

Fall is my most favorite time of the year!
I love the cool crisp air.  I love the colors.
I love the sights, sounds, and scents of Autumn!

Sarah at Pink Cricut is having a link up party that inspired me to use a neglected tool that I have.

I am not a sew easy kind of gal-- needles and thread and I do not get along sew (pun intended) well.
I guess I would call this tool- The Sew Kinda Irritates Me.

However...

I did figure out how to use it to my advantage- for brads.
So now I call the tool:  The So Easy Brad Piercer!

For my card I used the Sew Easy to pierce my paper- perfectly spaced- for my brads.
The background and the flowers and leaves are made out of Square 1 repositional, printable fabric.
I used my new Claudine Hellmuth image stamps (that are awesome!).
The images and background were all done with Distress Inks.  The ink took a bit of time to dry on the fabric- but looks fantastic once it did!

A Few other Fall Themed challenges:

  7. What a gorgeous and truly unique card. I am so glad you mentioned the fact that it is fabric inked. I'll bet the texture in real life is amazing! You totally crack me up with the not sew easy thing...rofl! I am the same way. So intrigued by so many of these gadgets...but always end up with an operator error issue!
