Guest Designer Day

Hi Everyone!

Today I am Guest Designing for Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbons.
Do you know Lisa?  Have you seen her awesome store?
If not- you need to stop by....

I am thrilled to be featured on her blog today!
And-
I absolutely LOVE her clip art, cut files, and digital paper!!

For my card, I used the digital clip art file:
Pink by Design Stamps (Awesome)
and some cuts from the Silhouette Online store

It's not very often that I get to make a "boy card"- so when I do, it's got to be special!!

I turned two of the Super Heroes into Flair Buttons!

I can turn almost anything into a flair button.
How about a Flair button of your Blog Button!?!
Check out my store, 3 Girl JAM, at www.3girljam.com and e-mail me a jpeg photo of your blog button (or send me a link to your blog) and I can make you a pin back button or a flat back button of your very own!!

Make sure to stop by the Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbon Store too and check out all of the cool stuff!

............................................................................

By the way, Lisa and I are having a Co-Blog Hop next Wednesday, October 3.  We have a super talented group of crafters joining us, so mark your calendar...I hope you'll check it out!
(great prizes and maybe even a sale or two!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Day!

Hi Everyone!

My Sweet Friend Beckie from Just B Creative Crazy is celebrating her One Year Blogging Anniversary!
She is so happy that she decided to host an Anything Happy Hop!

You should be joining me from Dr. Sonia's blog, if you just happened to stop by- make sure to go to Beckie's to start from the beginning.
There are 7 stops along the way- so make sure you leave some love everywhere so you can have a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate to 3 Girl JAM!

For my Happy Project today, I thought I'd try something a little different for me.
:0)
I wanted to make a super simple, super quick card to let Beckie know that She makes Me Happy.
Congratulations Beckie on your first awesome year-
Here's to many more!!

I used clip art and digital papers from Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbons.
So simple!
I printed the beehive out again so I could fussy cut it and ink up the edges for extra dimension.
The sentiments are from Pink by Design.
Even the flair button uses PPPR digital paper and PBD sentiments!

Grandma Rocks!

Hi Everyone!

In honor of Grand Parents Day I made this card for my Mother.

My daughters spent a lot of time with Grandma this Summer.
Mom was thrilled to have them, the girls were excited to be with Grandma, and I was over the top happy to have them gone spending so much time with someone who loves them so much.

I have learned to not ask for too many details whenever they come home from a visit with my Mother.  I've made that mistake and it won't happen again!
TMI is all I can say!
The only problem I have with their visits is when they come home.  Not because I would rather have them gone- but because when they return home-
they are horribly lazy!
I don't know what my Mother does to them all day (remember I don't ask!), but man!- they're so lazy they would make a rock look like a party animal!
I asked them once, "Do you lay around like this at Grandma's and expect her to wait on you?"
Their answer, in unison, almost scared like- a definite, "NO".

My Mom will like this.  She'll understand.
:0)

Treat your Grandparents and Parents this weekend!
Have a good one.
Supplies used:
Echo Park paper
Claudine Hellmuth chipboard telephone and rubons
Pink by Design Sentiment: Grandparents

Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Bird Told Me...

Hi Everyone!

This weekend I got to do a little craft shopping and came across the new Christmas paper from My Minds Eye.

Such pretty papers that I had to get a pack!
I saw this little hexagon bird sticker in the pack and instantly an idea came to mind!

I wanted to play off the hexagon of the bird so I used the Pink by Design Big Hexagon stamps and stamped my background in different shades of blue (to match the bird's hat).
The sentiment is from PBD Simply Everything and the Banner is from Everyday Banners.

Some 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon finishes off the card nicely.

I'm linking up my project to the Ink it Pink Challenge at Pink by Design.

Link up your Bird projects this week too and you can have a chance to win some Pink by Design Stamps!

Christmas Tag

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day, and I hope you all got to spend some time with your family yesterday.

Only a few more Holidays to go before it's Christmas!

If you're like me, you wait until the very last minute to do anything to get ready for Christmas.
:0)

Today's project is in honor of the people who plan ahead and start their shopping, card making, and decorating early.
I do not personally know anyone like this, but I aspire to be organized like this someday.

This tag is from the Pink by Design Christmas Tags set.

I stamped the tag covered it in Washi Tape, stamped and colored in the present, and stamped To: and From: and cut them out and inked them for extra dimension.
I finished off the tag with some Mistletoe and Holly Berry 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon.

Now go get working on your Christmas "To Do List".
I'm betting you won't see another Christmas post from me until December!!

Thanks for stopping by!
