Donated Cards Part 2

Hi Everyone!
Just a quick post today to share the rest of the cards that I am donating to a church silent auction.

The first 4 cards were done with the Cricut Imagine and the last one was cut with the Silhouette Cameo.
All sentiments are from Pink By Design.

You can see the rest of my cards HERE.

New T-Shirts!

Hi Everyone!

We've been having some fun with heat transfer vinyl on t-shirts in our house.

The girls came up with some ideas for shirts, so I put the Cameo to work!

Here's what we came up with:

It was so much easier than I ever thought it wold be!

HTV cuts just like regular vinyl but has a "built in" transfer tape.  Cut it, weed it, put it on the fabric, and iron-- easy peasy!

3GJ- You Make Me Smile

Hi Everyone!

I've been on a creative streak lately!  I finally figured out (kind of) how to do the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo- so I've been having a lot of fun with it.
Here's a quick card that I made:

Echo Park paper, Pink By Design sentiment, and 3 Girl JAM Twine, Button, and Cherry Lipstick Ribbon.  Doesn't get much better than that!

Hope you all have a great day!

Donated Cards

Hi Everyone!
I am on vacation from work this week!
Yay!!
It's nice to have a break, but I find myself busier than ever with all of my free time.
(you know how that goes right?)
Recently I was asked to make some cards to donate to one of my friends' church for a silent auction.
I made 12 different cards.
I used my Cricut Imagine for most of them.  It's been awhile since I used this machine, but every time I do, I ask myself why I don't use it more.  I love this machine!  It makes card making super easy.

Here are a few of the cards I made:

I used my Imagine on 10 out of the 12 cards and spent about 3 hours (with a break!) total on all of them.  I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they all came together and how cute they all turned out!
I'll share the other 6 at another time.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to make my Mom a special Mother's Day card this year.
I make so many cards and they usually end up sitting in a box, an then when there actually is a special occasion- for a special person- I find myself out of time, too tired, or just forgetful.
I was not going to let another Mother's Day go by without making something for my Mom!
Silhouette Lori Whitlock files and Echo Park paper are made for each other!

I couldn't leave the girlies out, so I made them cards to send to their Grandmas for Mother's Day too.
Cricut Imagine: Kate's Kitchen and Pink By Design: Grandparents

Silhouette Cameo and Pink By Design: Rain or Shine
I did not go so far as to make a Mother's Day card for myself.
My girls can do that!

A few challenges:

Teacher Appreciation

Hi Everyone!
My girls have awesome teachers this year!  They love everything about school (except lunch!- for real) and are not excited for Summer Break (also for real!).  We are so lucky to be a part of such a fantastic school district.

This week the girls took some gifts to their teachers to show  appreciation for all of their hard work.

Their Teachers loved them!

Have a great weekend!

A Special Thank You!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while since I sat down to make a card with a specific person in mind.

3GJ Caribbean Splash Bundle:  Coral Crush and Aqua Splash
I mailed this out yesterday along with a little Thank You gift.
If you're reading this now, and receive it in the mail in the next couple days, just know that I was thinking of you when I made it.

Have a great Wednesday!

Movie Night

Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share a project that I did for a fundraiser for one of the kids at my daughters' school.
Each class in school is making a basket that will be auctioned off.  Mackenzie's teacher asked if I would make the box to hold their class "Movie Themed" basket.
I will admit, when Mackenzie's teacher brought me a cardboard box with the Home Depot logo all over it, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it.
Silhouette to the rescue!

Mackenzie also thought it would be neat to make Movie Night invitation cards.
