Altered Notebook

Hi Everyone!

I'm taking a little break from my usual card making.

I've had an idea brewing in my head for a few days so I decided to just try it.

I made a notebook!
Not just any notebook though...
I've had some Ranger Studio Sticky Back Canvas for awhile.  I've been hoarding it trying to come up with just the right project.

Once I got my Imagine I wanted to use the print function to print out a fun background on the canvas (don't try to cut the canvas with the Cricut- it won't work!).  I used the Hopscotch Cartridge for all 3  pieces of canvas (which are stuck to a piece of chipboard).
I stamped a Pink By Design sentiment (from the Jan. Stamp of the Month Club), used the Cinch to bind it together, and finished it off with some 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon.

Here's a close up (and if you click the image it will get even larger) so you can see the texture of the canvas.

  12. Julie, this turned out great. The Imagine did an awesome job on the Canvas...good idea. I have cut regular fabric with the Expression, I backed it with a heat and bond type backing. Wonder if that would work for canvas????
I recently purchased a Bind-it-all and will have to use it now. Great inspiration...thanks.
