Hi Everyone!
It's Simply Sunday time again, and this weeks challenge at Getting Cricky with K Andrew is all about Summer Fun!
My Summers kind of stink.
I am always so busy with work, that when I get a day off (after all the housework, cooking, laundry, etc. is done), I just want to sit around and do nothing. I'm a Health Inspector for the state of IA (my day job!) and while everyone else is out enjoying the fairs and festivals, I'm there too- but I'm checking the food vendors to make sure that they are handling your corndogs and cotton candy safely! I love my job, but during the Summer, instead of being at the "Sweet Corn Festival"- I'd much rather be on the beach with my kids (I'd much rather be anywhere else quite honestly).
But enough of my whining......
Happy thoughts....
I loved making this card. It was very therapeutic for me.
This is a 5"x5" card. The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder.
I cut the flower shape using the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge.
The cute little girl stamp is Prima brand that I colored in with Gelly Roll gel pens and Le Plume markers.
The sentiment is from K Andrews Designs Splashtastic Summer.
If you do not have any of Kristal's stamps yet- they need to go on your "Must Have" list, because they are fabulous!!
So now it's your turn to join in on the fun! Link up with Getting Cricky and share your Summer Fun creations!
Thanks for stopping by!

I didn't see any food particles on your card, so it passed with flying colors for me. I love it and you did a great job on coloring. On the bright side, think of all the people at the fair they may not be feeling to well --- if it were not for your dedication to the job.
ReplyDeletehugs, Diana
