What a week!!

Hi Everyone!

I have had a week that I'd like to forget!
Saturday night my right knee started to hurt.  I'm not sure what I did to it, but I know that it just didn't feel right.  All day Sunday, I participated in my first Craft/Vendor show.  It was such a disappointment and had such a small turnout (lots of vendors- just no customers).  By Sunday evening my knee hurt so bad that I was a total grouch!
Monday I was miserable.  I did however spend a little time in the craft room (I thought it would make me feel better- and it did!).
We are getting ready for Halloween in our household- so that is what is on my brain lately.
I made a quick tag before I had to go ice my knee.

Tuesday I went to the Doctor and she said it looked like I dislocated my kneecap, so Wednesday I went to another Doctor to have them "pop" it back into place.  PAIN!  However, I could walk out of the Dr office- so that was a good thing.  I went to work on Thursday for a few hours and have to work all day on Friday.  All I can say is- Thank goodness the weekend is almost here.
I need to get out of pain and into my craft room.
I'm having serious withdrawls!!

See you soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Julie, how on earth did you dislocate your kneecap? I didn't even know that was possible! I am glad that they were able to "fix" it and hope your pain disappears soon! We would be lost without an updated creativity post from you for too long. I just love your tag and your wonderful crinkle ribbon is the perfect finishing touch!!!

  3. Julie, you poor girl :( so sorry to here about your horrific week, but happy the doctor knew what was wrong and it didn't require surgery. I here you about craft boutiques. I used to do many in my younger days and most of them were disappointing in regards to paying customers. Hope your next one goes better. I love your little tag! So fun for Halloween! hang in there!

  5. Julie, I am so glad your knee is better and you were able to get that problem fixed quickly. Glad to hear you didn't need surgery, just a pop back into place. So sorry to hear the craft show didn't go well. That stinks! I do love your tag. Really pretty. Wishing you a wonderful weekend with no injuries and lots of crafty time!

  7. So glad you are on the mend and appears nothing serious. However, it is the knee and part of the apparatus that keeps us going. Take care of yourself...your girls need you. Be good to yourself...do a little crafting, that always helps.
I am going to a Craft show tomorrow, just to browse. Hope your next one is better. Having a bum knee doesn't help matters either.
Have a good of the weekend!
