Getting Cricky Simply Sunday!

Check out my Giveaway going on HERE!

Hi Everyone!  Today is my first post as a Getting Cricky with K Andrew Design Team Member!!
Today's Simply Sunday challenge is "Pennants and Banners".  I am so excited to be a part of this fabulous team- and I'm so excited for YOU to see all of the wonderful projects my fellow DT Members have created!

Today is my Niece's high School graduation party, so I wanted to make her something special.  My other Niece graduates in 2 weeks.  I made them both similar things (they'll never know!).

This was my first attempt at a mini album- simply decorated as to not distract from the 2011.
I used my Gypsy to create each layer and weld shapes (George) and numbers (Plantian Schoolbook).  My fantabulous E2 cut each layer 4 times out of heavy cardstock, and then I glued and shadow layered them all together.
The banner is from the Celebrations cartridge.
I wrote a little note to both of them on one of the layers and let each of my girls write a note also.  They were happy to be a part of this creation.

Please make sure you go visit the Getting Cricky site and give Miss Kristal and the new Design Team some love.  Also, make sure you link your project and go visit and make some new friends!

Thanks for stopping by.
