Hi Everyone!
If you've noticed on my last couple posts- I have not made any cards since Sunday!
I'm trying something new- and having fun doing it!!
Today I altered a notebook.
It started out like this:
It started out like this:
And ended up like this:
I used the DCWV Lemon Flower stack for all the paper (I love this stack!).
I was not really a fan of Yellow until I bought this stack, and actually bought it for all the Black and Silver- now, I can't seem to get enough Yellow- go figure!
I stamped the owl image and cut it out with a 1" Marvy punch. I adhered it with some Glossy Accents and flooded the image to make it pop. If you saw my last post- it's the exact same thing, except I didn't put it in a bottle cap!
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs "Positive Thoughts" stamp set.
I love this set!! After having all 6 sets of Kristal's stamps- I've got to say- that this is by far my favorite! I haven't seen these phrases anywhere else before- and they are perfect! Buy them HERE!
$1.00 from each set of these stamps goes to Storefront Shelter (Homeless shelter for children and youth).
Thanks for stopping by!

Looks great! I recently altered a composition notebook, but it did NOT come out as nicely as yours did! Haha, I guess I'm still learning. What are you going to use the notebook for? I use mine to keep track of what I use for cards (for future reference and for my blog) and also what I purchase.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! It is always so fun to do altered projects. I love the paper you used.

Julie, Another creative idea from the GCWKA DT. These notebooks would be fun for anyone. Kids would love them for school and adults would love them for everyday use. The DCWV stack is awesome, they are one of my favorites and yellow is one of my fav colors. Good job!

I love this notebook! I really need to use more of my glossy accents. Still easing into that process, but I guess I will stop back from time to time to get inspiration from you....you rock the glossy accents. Glad you're having fun changing it up a bit this week with 'no cards'!
